Great show to some extent. I was wondering why NOPI has 30,000 dollar vehicle parking in the dirt parking lot by the rear tunnel. When there was plenty of room in on the pavement or at least the grass. My car was in the dirt the first day and the only people that saw it were the other stupid people like me parked where they where supposed to. My car sat there all day till about 300pm then a sand whirl went through strong enough for my wife to hide cuase the sand hurt then it was actually strong enough to slam my doors shut. there for cuasing my paint to chip and my car be pelted with little rocks. I Know no one in the car scene would want these conditions for parking at suppose ofly the most elite show ever. I was very dissapointed in the show. |

yeah, i did the same thing and parked in the gravle. I was in brown street class with my 99 tahoe, the judge saw my truck sun morning as we rolled in, but it looked like #### after being parked in a the dirt all day on sat. we did not say sun for awards but i bet i didnt win. |

Maybe next year just close that section off and park them in general or squeeze them in some place else there were only about 50 cars down there they definitely could have fit in with the ford mustangs or something. Big disappointent in the parking area(Blue) |

Holy cow! Is that all you people can do is piss and moan about everything? I mean I think they did pretty damn good considering a tornado tore most of it up weeks before. Boo hoo hoo I had to park in the dirt. That's what they make car washes for. Newsflash, dirt doesn't blow doors shut, wind does. If you didn't like the conditions then you should have complained when something could have been done about it. |

I guess there is too much negativity going around. We got a reserved grass area but on day two it was taken by other people/cars. I didn't know they were so eger to represent us after the barrel said it was our group. Some of us was upset but then figured no worries we can fit somewhere. Maybe we can help out next year with things? |

I was parked in the dirt in the Purple section and got hit with the sand whirl also. Threw sand in my trunk, seats, engine, everywhere. I felt bad for the convertible parked a little ways away. There's nothing NOPI could have done about the condition of the speedway. It was posted on the website about the damage and that certain areas were cleared out so people could actually park there instead of having debris in the way. I thought they did a great job, and NOPI can't be held responsible for the condition of AMS. I took time to find out exactly what condition AMS was in after the tornado. Found several pictures posted online; best place to look probably would have been the AMS website. Hopefully next year NOPI can convince AMS to clean up a little bit and maybe make it more "show car friendly" for the event, since I'm sure NOPI pays quite a hefty price to rent that place out. AMS should want to keep the NOPI shows coming back, and should work with NOPI in making sure the conditions are adequate. |
